Melee Weapons
Type-1 Energy Weapon/Sword - More commonly called the 'Energy Sword' by UNSC infantrymen, this weapon is one that is feared within most human ranks. Not really because of the sword itself, but because that with the sword comes some of the best Sangheili in the field. This sword is only allowed to be held by the Ultra, General, and Zealot class Sangheili. However, there have been reported sightings of Special Operations troops wielding swords. When activated, the Type-1 Energy Weapon/Sword emits around 3 feet of harnessed Energy that does not cut. Instead, the sword boils through things, which make it able to go through any substance.
Energy Cutlass - Similar to the Energy Sword, the Energy Cutlass is a blade used by the Kig-Yar race, mainly their Zealot Classes. The Cutlass emits around 2 feet of light red plasma that has the same effect of the Sword, but is less effective. The Cutlass can only stay activated for several swings before running out of battery and deactivating.
Small Arms
Type-25 Directed Energy Pistol - Called the 'Plasma Pistol' by Marines and ODST's, this weapon is used as the sidearm for the Sangheili species, but is primarily scene as the main weapon for the Unggoy and Kig-Yar ranks. It fires an emerald green portion of plasma that is especially effective against shielding systems, but is also deadly against flesh, burning right through to the bone. An overcharged shot is also able to short out vehicles.
Type-33 Guided Munitions Launcher - The 'Needler' is a weapon that is used mainly by the Grunt and Jackal species, but has also been seen in the hands of Minor Class Elites. It fires a glowing pink shard of crystal that once it has reached an object, explodes into more, smaller shards inside the victim. It is extremely deadly, and a fairly common weapon to see on the battlefield.
Type-25 Directed Energy Rifle - This weapon is very rarely seen in the hands of Grunts, but is often seen being used by Sangheili. It is similar to the plasma pistol in strength, but with a faster fire rate of blue plasma. It can overheat quickly, but it also does wonders at suppressing enemies.
Carbines
Type-51 Directed Energy Rifle/Improved - This weapon is like a larger version of the Plasma Rifle. It is harder to carry, but is still light for Elite ranks, which it is commonly seen in the hands of. Capable of shooting volleys of plasma fire that are individually weaker than its plasma rifle counterpart, but has an overall larger amount of plasma fire before overheating.
Type-51 Carbine - The 'Covenant Carbine' is a marksman weapon seen wielded by Elites and Jackals without their gauntlet. This weapon has a large magazine and can be reloaded quickly. Although it only features a semi-automatic function, it is still deadly at most forms of combat, excluding close quarters.
Sniper Rifles
Type-52 Special Applications Rifle - The 'Focus Rifle' is mainly used by Kig-Yar, but has also been seen in Elite Ranger and Spec Ops usage. It fires a sustaining beam of plasma that can suppress infantry. Although, the Skirmisher subspecies has been spotted using this weapon in close combat situations with deadly effect.
Type-50 Sniper Rifle System - Called the 'Beam Rifle' for the deadly beam that it fires, this is the primary sniper rifle system for all Covenant ranks. It fires a quick beam of energy from thousands of feet away, and can go right through a SPARTAN's shield systems with ease.
Heavy Weapons
Type-33 Light Anti-Armor Weapon - The 'Fuel Rod Gun' is mainly used by Sangheili and Unggoy ranks, and is generally purposed as an anti-armor firearm. However, the explosive plasma can also be used to shake up infantrymen. Having a semi automatic fire rate and a clip of five shots, you can shoot devastating shots from this weapon with rapid succession.
Type-50 Directed Energy Rifle/Heavy - Also known as the 'Concussion Rifle', this weapon is commonly seen in the hands of Major-Class and Ultra-Class Elites. Having a fairly large clip of six shots, the Concussion Rifle fires explosive plasma that can disorientate and tear apart foes with ease, exploding on contact.
Type-52 Guided Munitions Launcher/Explosive - Featuring a charge up function, the 'Plasma Launcher' can fire anywhere between one and four explosive plasma fire that stick to a target for a low amount of seconds before detonating. This is most effective on Vehicles, but can be used to suppress infantry.
