Name: Hunter Knight
Age: 17
Race/Species: Human; Caucasian
Appearance:
Hunter is a very young soldier, and so it is portrayed in his characteristics. Enlisting in the military as soon as he could, the young Human has not aged in the slightest, having no wrinkles or signs of him being elderly at all. His skin is not extremely pale, but is somewhat lighter than that of his other teenage peers. His eyes are a dull blue, making them look grey, the iris color of the blind. He does contain muscle on his body, but is not as brutish as the heavier Marines. Instead, he is leaner and sleeker than his squad mates. Even though Hunter is as young as a soldier gets, it does not make any difference in his height. Standing at 6'0", Hunter is one of the taller members of his fireteam. No scars or bruises adorn his body yet. Hunter wears the standard Private Marine uniform when in combat.
Faction: UNSCDF; Marine Corps
Rank: E-1 Private
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 155 lbs.
Skillset:
Eager - The Private's enthusiasm is a great source of morale, and helps his allies when in the heat of battle. He often taunts his enemies jokingly even in the middle of a fight, just to make sure no one is losing hope.
Determined - Although a new soldier and part of a fresh batch of Marines who have never seen action, the determination that Hunter showed in boot camp was something to envy. He makes sure that he pulls his weight in an operation, or he at least dies trying to.
Loyal - Hunter is simple to warm up to, and is an extremely loyal soldier. He will stand by whoever he is under to the end, and will not back stab or run when his comrades need him, even if he wants to.
Team:
Outlaw 3-2; Fireteam Omega:
Corporal James Gigand; Rifleman - James is the fireteam leader, and the oldest of the group. Although he is the team leader, he is very friendly when they have their downtime. Otherwise he is a deadly, serious, and capable fighter.
Private First Class Zane Ruggins; Marksman - Zane is the second-in command of the Fireteam, and a worthy right hand man to James. He is fairly arrogant, but still a dangerous warrior and an accurate marksman.
Private Riley Smith; Corpsman - Riley is the only female on the team, and the medic. She has been described as 'Hot' by several marines, including Hunter himself. She is very rough however, being very different from Hunter. While he is the party animal friendly kid, Riley is more of the aggressive, hardcore soldier. That doesn't stop Hunter from at least trying to engage in conversation, however.
Private Andre Lexington Squad Automatic Rifleman - Andre is the only African-American in the group, and often used as the comic relief. He is extremely energetic, and a close friend of Hunter. The two often laugh and joke when they can.
Private Samuel Chatterton; Rifleman - Sam is another Rifleman in the team, and another enthusiastic Marine. He will likely be the next to be promoted once James or Zane fall in combat, because he is an older, and capable soldier.
Personality:
Hunter is extremely friendly, being quite the likable guy. He is also very energetic in combat (However, this may be because he has never even engaged the Covenant in legitimate combat.). He does have a fear factor, but prefers to keep it hidden. He will likely succeed in containing his worry on the battlefield for some time, up until he comes face to face with an Elite or Skirmisher in close combat. When not fighting, though, Hunter contains an extremely positive attitude, and he is a very likable person that anyone could talk to if they needed to have some morale boosting.
RP Sample:
Hunter trotted into the training room. Him and Andre had to go all the way through a small, roofless tunnel without being seen by searchlights, while taking down the cardboard cutouts. Boo'ya.
"You ready, Lexington?" Hunter smiled, loading his MA5B with dead ammunition. Andre did likewise with his SAW. Hunter's best friend gave a grin, and nodded.
"As long as you are, Knight." Andre retorted. Hunter nodded back, and walked to the starting point. Andre joined him, and the two awaited James, who walked in, arms folded. He was overseeing the whole training session with cameras. He thumped Hunter on the back of the head. Hunter smirked and rolled his eyes.
"You two ready?"
"Yes Sir!" The two roared in unison.
"You know your objectives?"
"Yes Sir!" They spoke together, once again. Hunter could feel James smile. He patted Andre on the back, and then Hunter.
"Oorah. Go." He spoke, calmly.
Right on that go, both Privates rushed into the dark room, and a large metal door shut and locked behind them, rendering them blind except for the midnight sky above.
And then the lights.
Four massive searchlights activated, focusing their shine in the tunnel below. There were boxes to hide behind, pipes to crawl under, and drapes to find shelter under. All of which were meant to cover them. Camera's were set up everywhere to monitor their movement.
"I take the pipe. Go for that lineup of boxes." Hunter whispered, only loud enough for Andre to here. He felt his friend's big hand tap his back, as a sign that he heard and understood. Hunter tapped Andre's back once, twice, three times, and charged out. Andre pivoted mid-run and landed, back to the boxes, in a sitting position. Hunter ran in a crouching position, landing inside the pipe undetected. He couldn't see Andre, but he knew that his friend would be able to help him when he gave the signal. Hunter crawled forward in the pipe, until he reached the other end. He slowly put his MA5B to the side, and felt the ground directly outside of the pipe. He found some sort average sized rock, and saw one of the lights advancing to him. He grunted, pushing himself deeper into the pipe. The light shined over the pipe, and then moved on. The Private waited for three more seconds before crawling back to the exit of the pipe. He looked at the rock. It was heavy enough for what he wanted to do. Pulling his arm back, he pushed forward, throwing the rock to the empty space some nine feet away from his position. The moment it landed, three cardboard cutouts flipped up into view. Andre's SAW went off instantly, at least two dozen bullets running through the cutouts, eliminating all of them. Hunter smiled, pushing to his feet and charging to the next set of cover. The lights were quicker now, looking for the source of the gunfire. Hunter saw the gleam of the metal line signaling the finish only twenty yards away. He smiled, and charged forward. Andre joined him, and the two rushed the line. Through the corner of his eye, the Private saw one of the lights coming at him. He tensed.
"Shit... Come on..." Hunter snarled, as they raced to the line. He let out a huff, and leaped forward once he was only a few feet away. He flew through the dark air, his side slamming against the rough rock ground. He rolled twice, coming to a stop at a pair of boots. He lay on his back, looking up at Riley, Zane, and Sam all looking down on him, smirking.
"Wow... That wasn't that good, Hunt'." Riley taunted, walking off. Hunter, happy to even have completed his objective, lay on the ground, smiling to himself.
